Summary:

The Program Manager advances the organizational research priorities of Cook Children’s Health Care System and supports the research enterprise of Cook Children’s clinical and scientific centers. This position has primary responsibility for research operations within the Neuroscience Research team, the Neurology Department, and the Pediatric Brain Health and Neurosciences Center at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). The manager facilitates the development, execution, and oversight of innovative neuroscience research programs focused on improving the brain health and quality of life of pediatric patients. The role orchestrates complex, high-impact initiatives and standardizes program-specific processes, focusing on strategic execution, regulatory and compliance alignment, and operational delivery as research, data, and AI-enabled innovations are translated into clinical care. Serving as a senior operational partner and bridge across clinical, research, IT, regulatory, legal, and administrative teams, the role enables best-practice adoption, scientific advancement, and effective resource utilization across Cook and cross-institutional partnerships with The University of Texas at Arlington. Working closely with executive and research leadership, including the AVP for Neuroscience Research, the Research Program Manager operationalizes leadership vision into actionable plans, aligns timelines and governance requirements, supports IRB- and grant-enabled activities (i.e., grant management experience a plus but not required), and drives the coordinated execution of complex, multi-stakeholder programs that advance the mission and integrity of research and precision-health activities across the organization.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in research, project management, or process improvement

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (Education, Business, Healthcare, or related field)
