As a CACI Mission & Engineering Support NAVWAR Engineer (Modeling and Simulation) supporting the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) you will contribute to enabling Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) superiority for the Department of Defense, interagency, and coalition partners. Located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, the JNWC is the DOD’s Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and PNT capabilities integration. In this pivotal role, you will support the warfighter by providing expert modeling and simulation support to assure and prevent PNT information through coordinated employment of space, cyberspace, and electronic warfare operations. Your work will directly impact joint planning, Operation Plan (OPLAN) analysis, and the execution of NAVWAR operations across all domains and military operations. You will play a critical part in assessing offensive and defensive NAVWAR operational capabilities in contested environments, identifying knowledge gaps, and developing tactics, techniques, and procedures to mitigate NAVWAR vulnerabilities. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on national security by ensuring PNT superiority and supporting the warfighter with cutting-edge NAVWAR solutions. The ranges listed at the end of this job posting are CACI’s general guidelines. • You shall support the development and implementation of client requirements for RF solutions, including services, products, technologies, and capabilities tailored for airborne mission environments.
• Your responsibilities will include performing Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testing on systems susceptible to denial or deception of PNT/GPS, as well as supporting technical reviews of vendor hardware and software products and deliverables.
• You will interface development and create software algorithms and models for simulation, while researching state-of-the-art signal processing algorithms.
• Additionally, you will collaborate with both internal and external customers to integrate solutions into a diverse range of applications and use cases.
• You shall debug, test, and validate our capabilities through unit tests and scenarios reported by the JNWC or JNWC Customers, ensuring the highest standards of performance and reliability.
