Senior AI Engineer (AIMS Martek)

Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-based AI systems and architectures for marketing-focused applications

• Lead the development lifecycle of Generative AI solutions from research and prototyping to production deployment

• Translate business and marketing requirements into testable, scalable AI-driven solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams

• Develop and optimize data pipelines, retrieval systems (RAG), vector databases, and multi-agent AI workflows

• Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python, Java, or Node.js

• Own end-to-end solution architecture including design, testing, deployment, and operational support

• Evaluate AI initiatives based on technical feasibility, scalability, and business value

• Communicate technical concepts and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences

• Document system designs, workflows, and engineering best practices to ensure long-term maintainability

• Mentor engineers and contribute to the adoption of emerging AI tools and frameworks

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent hands-on development background

• 2+ years of experience applying Generative AI technologies (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, or multi-agent systems) in production environments

• Strong experience building scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs

• Familiarity with marketing technology ecosystems such as CRMs, CDPs, workflow automation tools, or data platforms

• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

• Experience with testing strategies including unit testing and end-to-end testing

• Ability to operate in fast-paced environments with strong ownership and problem-solving skills

• Nice to have: experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain or OpenAI APIs, mentoring engineers, Java development, or marketing automation platforms like HubSpot
