Senior AI Governance Engineer
About this role
Accountabilities:
• Design and implement enterprise-grade governance frameworks for Power Platform and Copilot Studio, including environment strategy, DLP policies, identity controls, and lifecycle management.
• Define operating models, guardrails, and standards that enable scalable and secure adoption of Microsoft AI and automation platforms.
• Assess client maturity and develop governance roadmaps aligned with business objectives, risk requirements, and adoption readiness.
• Provide technical leadership across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio agents, and ALM practices including DevOps integration.
• Review platform configurations to ensure scalability, security, compliance, and operational resilience in production environments.
• Support solution architects and engineering teams in making governance-aligned design decisions across complex implementations.
• Lead governance workshops, executive briefings, and advisory sessions with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Deliver client-ready artifacts such as governance documentation, policy frameworks, decision logs, and implementation recommendations.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of enterprise experience working with Microsoft platforms, including significant exposure to Power Platform governance, architecture, or administration.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Platform Admin Center).
• Proven experience designing and implementing governance frameworks, including environment strategy, DLP policies, and managed environments at enterprise scale.
• Practical experience with Copilot Studio, including agent lifecycle management, publishing, and security considerations.
• Strong understanding of identity and security concepts such as Entra ID, RBAC, conditional access, and auditability.
• Ability to engage confidently with executive and technical stakeholders, translating complex governance topics into business-relevant insights.
• Familiarity with ALM practices and pro-code extensions such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, custom connectors, and DevOps pipelines is a plus.
• Exposure to Center of Excellence (CoE) models and enterprise adoption frameworks is strongly preferred.
• Consulting or client-facing experience with strong communication and advisory skills.
