About the Role
Responsible for creating data modelling tools to identify opportunities through insight from data
• Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Modeling & Analytics:
o Identify, frame, and solve business problems using machine learning, deep learning, and statistical methods.
o Develop, train, evaluate, and deploy models for use cases such as forecasting, classification, recommendation, NLP, computer vision, or anomaly detection.
• Data & Infrastructure:
o Work with data engineers to design robust data pipelines and ensure data quality, reliability, and availability.
o Use cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools to operationalize models in production.
• AI Product Development
Minimum Requirements:
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (PhD a plus).
o 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI (adjust years based on seniority).
Technical Skills:
o Strong programming skills in Python, with experience using ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
o Solid understanding of machine learning concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, feature selection, overfitting, etc.).
o Experience working with SQL and at least one big data or distributed computing framework (e.g., Spark, Databricks).
o Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and version control (Git).
o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
o Excellent communication and storytelling skills – ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
o Attention to detail with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy.
o Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
