Senior Associate, Enterprise Data Governance
About this role
The Enterprise Data Governance organization is a centralized group which partners with the broader data organization to ensure data is accurate, accessible, and aligned to business objectives across the firm. We're looking for a consultative data professional who can drive meaningful improvements in data quality and usability at an enterprise scale.
In this role, you'll partner across the business on operational transformation initiatives — defining identifying gaps, enhancing data integrity, and expanding access to trusted data that teams can act on.
Responsibilities:
• Liaise with business and technology teams to align on data project goals and priorities
• Ask insightful questions to surface requirements, uncover gaps, and drive clarity across stakeholder groups
• Lead working sessions with business leaders to gather data and process requirements
• Aggregate and analyze data across multiple systems, including profiling, design, and definition to identify the root cause of issues
• Map and assess business processes, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement
• Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and present recommendations to stakeholders
• Collaborate with Data Stewards to develop business data taxonomies and conceptual data models
• Translate complex data findings and recommendations into structured analyses and executive-ready presentations
Qualifications:
Required
• 5+ years of experience in data and business analysis
• Proven ability to perform data discovery, profiling, and analysis in a matrixed organization
• Experience in business process mapping and requirements definition
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to all levels of the organization
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data modelling, pivot analysis, structured outputs) and PowerPoint (slide logic, executive storytelling); able to make complex findings accessible to non-technical audiences
• Detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Preferred
• Experience in Consulting, Asset Management, or Financial Services
• Familiarity with financial services data domains including: Product, Party, Client, Securities, Pricing, Accounts, Trade, Transaction, Performance, and Corporate Actions
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Business Objects
Technical Skills
• Hands-on experience with one or more: SQL, Python, R, Java, JavaScript, REST, JSON, XML, VBA
• Familiarity with data governance and management platforms such as Collibra, Alation, Ab Initio, or Informatica (MDM, DQ, ETL, metadata management)
• Working knowledge of data management disciplines including: Data Architecture, Data Quality, Data Profiling, Data Catalogs, Data Glossaries, Data Taxonomy, Metadata, and Reporting/Visualization

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $115,000-$140,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
