Senior Business Intelligence Specialist
About this role
AAA Club Alliance is hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Automotive Solutions team. This role partners with middle and senior leadership across Automotive Solutions, Marketing Business Analytics, Membership, and IT to support data mining, modeling, and advanced enterprise analysis.
The position follows a hybrid schedule with on-site work Tuesday through Thursday in Wilmington, DE.

What You'll Do:
• Utilize SQL, SAS (Guide, Miner), ESRI, and other analytics tools for data extraction, cleansing, manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
• Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards on roadside assistance trends, including volume, cost, service performance, and KPIs.
• Perform advanced data aggregation, mining, and statistical analysis to identify trends, build cost/usage models, and generate actionable insights.
• Support financial and operational analysis of roadside assistance programs, including vendor performance, cost efficiency, and liability trends.
• Identify and recommend emerging technologies to improve data analytics, reporting efficiency, and business intelligence capabilities.
• Design and deliver spatial and density mapping analyses using GIS tools to support operational strategy and decision-making.
• Analyze and resolve payment processing and system issues (D2000/D3, CPMS/D3 Back Office, and future platforms).
• Administer contractor and payment data, including rate updates, tax information, 1099 preparation, and bonus/incentive calculations.
• Coordinate data collection and reporting for external survey programs and quality standards with internal and external partners.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and reporting materials to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate across internal teams, vendors, and external partners to share insights, improve processes, and enhance service delivery.
• Lead reporting sessions and serve as a subject matter expert for analytics and process improvements.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce errors, improve efficiency, and shorten cycle times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or related field required; Master’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Predictive Analytics, or related field preferred. Equivalent education, experience, and certifications may be considered.
• Possess or quickly develop strong knowledge of Roadside Assistance and Automotive Services business preferred.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL required.
• Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Possess or quickly develop working knowledge of AAA Club Alliance systems (D2000/D3, CPMS/D3 Back Office), as well as enterprise platforms including the General Ledger, Accounts Payable system, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and Membership systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with SharePoint preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interpret and respond to end-user needs.
• Proficiency in SQL query environments and direct SQL execution.
• Experience with analytical and data tools such as SAS (Base SAS, SAS Guide, SAS Modeler) and ESRI GIS tools preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., MCTS) a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead projects, manage competing priorities, and coordinate team workloads.
