Position Purpose:

The Senior Data Analyst will play a pivotal role on the CX Analytics team supporting The Home Depot's Pro Product segment. This individual will transform complex data into compelling, actionable narratives that drive strategy and enhance end-to-end experience for Pro customers. Acting as a strategic partner, the Senior Analyst will partner closely with product managers, UX designers, engineers and business stakeholders to determine requirements and translate complex data into actionable insights that influence roadmap decisions. The ideal candidate is a hands-on analyst with advanced SQL expertise, strong Python and Tableau skills, and the ability to tell clear, compelling stories with data. This individual thrives in ambiguity, proactively identifies opportunities, and is enthusiastic about applying AI and advanced analytics to elevate how insights are generated and consumed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish reporting standards and best practices.
• Architect and implement a reporting framework.
• Oversee data mining efforts.
• Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, UX designers and end-users to determine requirements.
• Data analysis, development of SQL scripts, stored procedures & triggers, and report generation.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

• Position Reports to Sr. Engineer or Sr. Manager

Travel Requirements:

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data extraction and manipulation.

• Strong experience with Tableau (or equivalent BI tools) for dashboarding and executive-ready reporting.

• Solid Python skills for data analysis, statistical modeling, or automation.

• Proven ability to translate data into clear, compelling stories tailored to non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for and understanding of AI applications in analytics.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguity.

• Demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.

• High level of curiosity, ownership, and bias toward action.

• Previous experience in Customer Experience (CX) analytics, Product Analytics, B2B customers or a closely related field.

• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
