We’re looking for a Data Engineer to help us build and evolve the data foundations that power decision-making across Pipedrive.
In this role, you’ll work on designing and maintaining data systems, pipelines, and architecture that enable teams across the company to access reliable, high-quality data. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, analysts, and business stakeholders, helping translate real-world needs into scalable technical solutions.

Your new adventure

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems that support business and product use cases

• Drive the evolution of data architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency

• Lead and deliver data initiatives that span multiple systems and teams

• Improve data quality, observability, testing, and overall platform performance

• Identify gaps in existing systems and implement improvements that increase platform effectiveness

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate needs into practical data solutions

• Contribute to technical direction and support planning within the data domain

• Share knowledge and support other engineers through mentoring and collaboration

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience building and operating data systems in production environments

• Solid SQL skills and a good understanding of data modelling

• Proficiency in programming (e.g. Python)

• Experience working with distributed data processing tools (e.g. Spark, Flink)

• Hands-on experience with modern data tools (e.g. dbt, orchestration frameworks)

• Understanding of data architecture, data quality, and observability

• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives end-to-end

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across multiple systems

• Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders and contribute to technical decisions

It’s a plus if you have

• Deep experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) at scale

• Experience with streaming or real-time data systems

• Experience driving organisation-wide engineering practices

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
