Position Summary
This Senior Decision Scientist will play a pivot role supporting strategic, data-driven initiatives across CVS Health's PBM Caremark ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, lead projects, and translate data into solutions that tangibly drive business value. In this role, you will apply your analytical expertise and PBM data experience to help drive the success of digital products and ensure they meet customer needs and business expectations.
This role is responsible for determining the most accurate and effective analytical methodology for forecasting models and then collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective development, deployment, and business integration of the models. You will work directly with business partners to identify and prioritize opportunities for expansion and improvement of solutions, bridging the gap between development teams, stakeholders/business partners and users across various functional areas. You will also assess the performance and impact of models / solutions by conducting statistical analyses and measuring key performance indicators.
What you will do
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive and execute the development and deployment of analytical models
• Apply in-depth knowledge of forecasting methodology to translate business and client needs into analytical models and solutions support clients
• Identify opportunities for enhancements through data-driven analyses evaluating potential risks and benefits and quantify the impact of strategic decisions
• Conduct complex cost-benefit analyses to assess the feasibility of new methodologies, evaluate potential risks and benefits, and quantify the impact of strategic decisions
• Present analytical findings to executives and stakeholders to effectively communicate detailed information, gain alignment, and influencing upwards and laterally to drive organizational change and alignment
• Answer detailed questions from collaborators and stakeholders around the methodological details of forecasting models
• Coaches more junior colleagues and team members in techniques, processes, and responsibilities
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years work experience
• Experience in problem solving and decision-making
• Experience in developing data-driven recommendations and solutions
• Technical knowledge and experience with Excel and SQL/SAS/Teradata

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline. Master's degree preferred

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
