Senior Presales Systems Engineer
About this role
Accountabilities:
• Provide advanced pre-sales technical support, acting as a subject matter expert for networking solutions across assigned accounts and territories.
• Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities, design tailored solutions, and support the full sales cycle through to closure.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution validations for customers, partners, and prospects.
• Architect and design integrated solutions combining hardware, software, and services to meet complex customer requirements.
• Support bid and proposal development, including technical documentation, specifications, and implementation planning.
• Build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships to drive pipeline growth and long-term account development.
• Collaborate with vendor and internal teams to deliver demand generation activities and solution positioning.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior systems engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
• Stay current on networking technologies, competitive offerings, and industry trends to enhance solution design and positioning.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience, with strong exposure to pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles.
• Deep knowledge of networking technologies, especially campus and distributed branch network environments.
• Strong understanding of solution design, system integration, and enterprise networking architectures.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage senior technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong consultative mindset with ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities and operate effectively in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers is highly valued.
• Industry certifications in networking or related domains are a strong plus.
• Must be based in Southeast Florida (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach area).
