Senior Product Engineer

Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and scale backend services using TypeScript and Node.js within a microservices architecture

• Contribute to and maintain existing systems, including PHP/Laravel-based applications

• Develop user-facing features and internal tools using modern frontend frameworks such as React

• Own product initiatives end-to-end, from discovery and design to implementation, deployment, and iteration

• Collaborate with Product, QA, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions

• Enhance system architecture by integrating new services with legacy components

• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance through best engineering practices

• Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and the evolution of engineering standards

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering within product-focused environments

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js for backend development

• Proven experience delivering features or projects end-to-end with a high level of ownership

• Solid understanding of product development, with the ability to align technical solutions with user and business needs

• Experience working with both modern architectures and legacy systems

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus

• Experience with PHP and frameworks like Laravel is advantageous

• Frontend development experience with React is beneficial

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset

• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment

• Based in Europe with valid work authorization
