Senior Software Engineer
About this role
Accountabilities:
• Design, build, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, AWS, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps to support automated software and infrastructure delivery.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible to standardize provisioning across multiple environments.
• Build and optimize containerized and cloud-native architectures to ensure performance, resilience, and scalability.
• Configure and maintain observability systems, including logging, monitoring, alerting, and metrics for proactive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure solutions with application and business requirements.
• Support system reliability through troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of cloud environments.
• Document architectural designs, operational procedures, and technical processes to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering or related roles focused on system design and development.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Kubernetes (including EKS).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
• Solid programming and scripting skills in languages such as Python, Shell, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and platforms including Docker, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Strong understanding of Agile development practices and continuous integration/delivery methodologies.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed engineering environment while collaborating effectively across teams.
