Requirements:

• 6+ years of commercial experience as a software engineer

• Java 17+ (Java 25 is a plus)

• Spring Boot 4

• Spring Data JPA

• Spring WebFlux and Spring Web

• Project Reactor

• SQL and MySQL

• Redis

• Understanding of multithreading and virtual threads

• Experience building low-latency, high-performance solutions

• Microservice architecture

• Understanding of basic cloud computing concepts; AWS experience is a plus

• Experience with metrics and dashboards; DataDog is a plus

• Experience preparing Kubernetes deployment configurations; Kustomize and ArgoCD are a plus

• REST APIs and gRPC

• Experience with CI; Bitbucket Pipelines is a plus

• Agile/Scrum

Nice to Have

• AdTech experience, including advertising concepts, SSP/DSP, click-tracking architecture, and OpenRTB

• Vector search and embeddings; Vespa Cloud is a plus

• Elasticsearch or other search engines

• AWS S3

• Familiarity with Databricks

• Experience working with performance tests (Gatling is a plus)

• Experience working with ML models and ONNX Runtime

• Experience with Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex
