Responsible for end-to-end technical ownership of enterprise applications supporting healthcare services and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) business functions. Translate complex and evolving business, operational, and regulatory requirements into scalable and maintainable software solutions by decomposing large, multi-domain initiatives into well-defined technical deliverables. Lead feature-level design and implementation decisions, define service integration approaches, and ensure application behavior, data handling, and security controls align with enterprise architecture standards. Support ongoing modernization of legacy systems in active production environments and improve quality of applications through testing and modernization. Responsible for hands-on application development and serve as a technical point of stability by performing deep root-cause analysis of systemic or performance issues, fixing bugs, implementing durable fixes and new features, and introducing targeted improvements to application quality, performance, and reliability. Contribute to strengthening engineering practices through design reviews, code quality guidance, and mentorship of junior engineers. Refine delivery processes and improve estimation accuracy. Work closely with product, engineering, and operational stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional intent, compliance expectations, and long-term platform sustainability goals.
Uses the following tools and technologies: AI development tools, SQL Server 2022, SSMS, including T-SQL, Query Tuning, Views, and Complex Queries, Azure, including app services, storage, key vault, managed identity and service bus, .NET Core 8+/C#, Angular V18+ for front-end/UI Code, MS Power BI, Visual Studio 2022+, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, Restful API, Command and Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS)/MediatR Pattern, Dapper, AutoMapper, Okta, MVC, GemBox, Pulumi, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), including Azure DevOps, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Behavioral-Driven Development (BDD).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field and 5 years of (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in a software engineer/developer or related occupation. Must also have 60 months of experience with each of the following: (1) Using AI development tools, MS Power BI, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), including Azure DevOps, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Behavioral-Driven Development (BDD). (2) Performing root cause analysis, fixing bugs, implementing new features, and improving quality of applications through testing and modernization using Visual Studio 2022+. (3) Upgrading legacy systems, implementing new architectures, and enhancing security and performance of applications using Azure, including app services, storage, key vault, managed identity and service bus, .NET Core 8+/C#, Angular V18+ for front-end/UI Code, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, Restful API, Command and Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS)/MediatR Pattern, Dapper, AutoMapper, Okta, MVC, GemBox, and Pulumi. (4) Using SQL Server 2022 and SSMS, including T-SQL, Query Tuning, Views, and Complex Queries. (5) Providing technical mentoring to junior team members. Salary: $156,998 to $179,000/year. Full-time. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Telecommuting from home office available within commuting distance from HQ at 290 E John Carpenter Fwy, Irving, TX 75062.
