Job Description Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and self-driven analytics leader to join our HQ Sourcing Process, Systems & Analytics team. In this role, you will be at the center of driving data-driven decision-making for Business Leaders and Sourcing Leaders, delivering strategic analytics support across spend analytics, savings management, supplier analysis, and procurement performance.
You will lead digital transformation initiatives, collaborate with Digital Technology partners to implement next-generation analytics solutions, manage source data ingestion and validation, and ensure strong user adoption of analytics platforms across the organization.
This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role of procurement domain expertise, advanced analytics skills, project management capability, and stakeholder management.

Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose

• Lead GE Vernova data and analytics across Indirect Sourcing, Capex, and Travel, including spend analytics, savings tracking, supplier analysis, and procurement performance reporting.
• Support Direct Sourcing Analytics team in designing and developing actionable analytics within Sourcing360.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and analytics reports using Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Proactively improving data quality and accuracy by identifying data gaps, process bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions.
• Deliver strategic and operational analytics support to Sourcing Leaders to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Lead analytics initiatives by leveraging automation, GenAI, and Lean methodologies to achieve productivity gains.
• Collaborate with Digital Technology partners to design, develop, test, and implement new analytics solutions.
• Champion the adoption of analytics tools and platforms across business and sourcing teams, Drive user adoption through enablement activities, training, and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with the Commercial team on the negotiation and selection of third-party service providers.
• Manage 1–2 contractors to ensure day-to-day operational deliverables are met.
• Partner with the Digital Technology team to manage new source data ingestion processes, including data attribute identification, mapping, cleansing, validation, and quality management.
• Plan, manage, and track analytics projects and transformation initiatives within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, prioritize deliverables, manage risks, and resolve issues.
• Conduct regular Project reviews, provide project governance, prioritization, status reporting, and progress updates to leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. CAS, OMLP, DTLP or FMP graduates will be a plus.
• Strong experience in spend analytics, sourcing analytics, procurement reporting, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Strong experience in Procurement processes and system integration projects
• Experience working with large datasets and translating data into business insights.
• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Digital Technology and Finance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with automation, GenAI, or Lean improvement methodologies is preferred.
