Accountabilities
• Lead the design and implementation of shared, reusable data models.
• Drive standardization of data engineering practices across teams.
• Partner with Data Infrastructure to modernize orchestration.
• Architect and implement a shift-left data governance strategy.
• Collaborate with Data Science leads to translate metric definitions.
• Reduce operational burden by improving pipeline observability.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-native tooling into the development lifecycle.
Requirements
• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• 2+ years of SQL experience, including performance optimization.
• 8+ years of Python development experience.
• Expertise in dimensional data modeling and scalable data architecture.
• Strong experience with orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Ability to drive cross-team technical alignment effectively.
