Sr. Director of Enterprise Risk Programs and Intelligence
About this role
Accountabilities
You will lead the evolution of enterprise risk management by designing integrated frameworks, enhancing risk intelligence capabilities, and ensuring leadership has clear, actionable visibility into risk exposure. This includes building scalable systems for monitoring, analysis, and reporting across multiple risk domains.
• Develop and maintain enterprise risk frameworks, including risk appetite, taxonomy, and escalation processes aligned with governance and board expectations
• Lead the design and execution of key risk indicators (KRIs), key control indicators (KCIs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor enterprise risk exposure
• Drive scenario analysis and emerging risk assessments, translating outcomes into strategic insights for leadership decision-making
• Build enterprise risk reporting and dashboards, evolving them from static reporting to predictive, insight-driven analytics
• Oversee aggregation of risk data across domains to identify correlations, concentrations, and systemic exposures
• Lead third-party, people, financial, and strategic risk oversight programs in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
• Guide enterprise risk culture, training, and awareness initiatives while leading a high-performing risk intelligence team
Requirements
This role requires deep expertise in enterprise or financial risk management, with strong leadership experience in building scalable risk frameworks and analytics functions. You will bring both technical risk knowledge and the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise risk, operational risk, financial risk, or related disciplines
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise risk programs or risk analytics functions
• 5+ years of people management experience
• Strong background in risk reporting, dashboard development, KRIs, and executive/board-level communication
• Experience with third-party risk management and enterprise scenario analysis
• Deep understanding of financial services risk practices and regulatory expectations
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS or equivalent)
• Certifications such as FRM, CRMP, or CTPRP are a plus
