Sr Lead Software Engineer

Accountabilities

Lead the end-to-end development of advanced AI and software solutions, ensuring high-quality architecture, implementation, deployment, and operational support for scalable conversational and generative AI systems. Drive technical excellence across multiple initiatives while ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise architecture standards.

• Lead AI solution development lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of conversational AI systems.

• Oversee complex AI projects, ensuring timely delivery, technical accuracy, and alignment with business and product objectives.

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions.

• Integrate AI systems with enterprise platforms, including APIs, databases, CRM systems, and Google Cloud services.

• Design and implement MLOps/AIOps frameworks, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, versioning, and system observability.

• Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, latency, reliability, and user experience.

• Establish documentation standards, technical governance, and best practices for AI development and deployment.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers while contributing to engineering culture and knowledge sharing across teams.

Requirements

This role requires extensive software engineering experience with a strong specialization in AI/ML systems, cloud-native development, and enterprise-scale application delivery.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical field.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years focused on AI/ML solution development and deployment.

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with conversational AI platforms such as Dialogflow and Agent Builder.

• Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AI/ML services including Vertex AI and related tools.

• Strong understanding of core machine learning concepts, generative AI, and agentic system design.

• Experience with backend API integration, system architecture, and enterprise application development.

• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring engineers and driving cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.

• Familiarity with MLOps/AIOps practices, observability, and production AI system monitoring.
