Staff Product Manager - Data Platforms
About this role
Accountabilities:
• Define and lead the product vision and roadmap for data platform capabilities supporting logs, analytics, and data egress across communication channels.
• Drive strategy for scalable data delivery mechanisms, including APIs, webhooks, event streaming, and bulk data access solutions.
• Translate customer needs and enterprise use cases into product requirements through research, data analysis, and root cause investigations.
• Prioritize platform initiatives by evaluating technical complexity, business impact, and ROI to guide decision-making across competing priorities.
• Partner with engineering teams to design and evolve reliable, scalable, and secure data systems supporting high-volume workloads.
• Lead migration and modernization efforts, including transitioning customers from legacy systems and APIs to modern platform architectures.
• Establish and track KPIs for platform performance, adoption, reliability, and developer experience, using data to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across product teams to ensure alignment and orchestration of data capabilities across the broader platform ecosystem.
Requirements
• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally focused on platform, infrastructure, or data-intensive products.
• Strong technical background with experience in APIs, distributed systems, or backend platform design.
• Proven ability to define problems using customer data and translate insights into clear product direction.
• Experience working in B2B or enterprise environments, with understanding of complex organizational and sales dynamics.
• Strong analytical skills, including comfort with metrics, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence technical and business audiences in global teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership, execution focus, and ability to operate in fast-moving environments.
