Staff Software Engineer

Accountabilities:

You will take ownership of designing and building scalable systems that power critical internal workflows, while helping define the technical direction of the platform. You will contribute to architecture decisions, improve engineering practices, and ensure systems remain robust, maintainable, and efficient.

• Design and develop scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services

• Lead architectural decisions across frontend and backend systems

• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver impactful solutions

• Translate complex operational and business needs into reliable technical systems

• Build and enhance tools, automation, and workflows to improve developer productivity

• Mentor engineers and contribute to raising the overall technical bar of the team

• Participate in modernizing and migrating legacy systems into scalable web-based platforms

• Explore and integrate AI-assisted development tools into engineering workflows

Requirements:

You bring deep software engineering experience and strong full-stack capabilities, with a proven ability to build scalable, production-grade systems. You are comfortable working in evolving environments and enjoy solving complex technical and product problems.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience

• Strong full-stack development experience building modern web applications

• Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks

• Strong backend and API design experience, including scalable system architecture

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Strong understanding of system design, performance, and scalability principles

• Product-oriented mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills

• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools is a strong plus

• Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction
