Strategic AI Commercial Operations Analyst
About this role
The Strategic Commercial Operations Analyst plays a key role in driving the evolution of sales analytics within Institutional Europe. The position focuses on the development and deployment of advanced, AI-driven sales analytics solutions, leveraging modern BI platforms and machine learning techniques to support data-driven decision-making.
This is a hands-on analytical role, responsible for transforming fragmented data into scalable, user-friendly digital solutions (primarily Power BI) and delivering actionable insights that shape business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Analytics & Insight Generation
- Deliver actionable insights to support:
• Sales performance
• Pipeline health
• Growth and retention initiatives
- Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Support leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations
AI-Driven Analytics Development
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques to extract valuable insights from large and complex datasets, supporting strategic decision-making
- Spearhead the implementation of machine learning models to:
• Automate data processes
• Enhance predictive analytics
• Improve forecasting, pipeline analysis, and performance tracking
- Apply appropriate ML methodologies (e.g., clustering, decision trees, neural networks), understanding their strengths, limitations, and business applicability
BI & Digital Tool Development
- Design and develop end-to-end reporting solutions, primarily in Power BI
- Translate business requirements into intuitive, decision-oriented dashboards
- Ensure solutions are easy to use, scalable across countries, aligned with business priorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data science, or related field
- 5–6 years of experience in business intelligence, business analytics, or similar roles
- Strong expertise in:
• Power BI (or similar BI tools)
• Data modelling and visualization
- Mandatory: Proven experience applying AI and machine learning tools to sales analytics development
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Experience working with fragmented and complex datasets
- Solid understanding of sales processes and performance drivers
- Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, including: clustering, decision tree learning, neural networks
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Nice to Have (Optional): Previous experience coordinating or mentoring team members
