Functions as a Student Research Assistant to provide support of daily operations in a research laboratory within the Department of Internal Medicine; Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, assists with research activities under direct supervision; assists with collection of and organizes research data; assists with processing biospecimens prepares media, solutions, and reagents for use in experiments; performs and maintains cell cultures; conducts library research; washes glassware used in laboratory; autoclaves (sterilizes) glassware, tools and equipment as needed; assists with inventory and maintenance of research supplies
