Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
This temporary research position supports a qualitative study focused on organic crop growers’ use of pest protective netting. The role involves developing interview questionnaires, conducting virtual interviews with growers, organizing and cleaning qualitative data, and performing thematic analysis. The individual will synthesize findings into clear, structured reports to support the research team’s objectives.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant training in qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, coding, thematic analysis) and demonstrated interest and/or experience in farmer adoption research
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Rural Sociology, Sustainable Agriculture, or a related field, and experience conducting interviews with farmers or agricultural stakeholders
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
