About The Team:

The Trading Strategy and Research Platform Team partners closely with Investment Teams, Trading, Risk, Capital Markets, and Senior Management to support investment outcomes, execution quality, and operating scalability across Global Equity & Multi-Asset Trading. The team sits at the center of the trading organization translating strategy, market intelligence, third party research, and data into actionable insights, robust execution, oversight frameworks, and scalable infrastructure.

About The Role:

The role is designed for an individual who can operate as both a strategic thought partner and hands‑on analytics leader, with a strong understanding of trading behavior, market structure, and quantitative analysis across all asset classes. In addition, the role will also provide coverage to adjacent functions, including the firm’s third-party research platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, production, and ongoing enhancement of trading desk–level analytics across Equities and Multi‑Asset Strategies to evaluate execution performance and liquidity access
• Partner directly with Trading desks to develop strategy‑aware analytical frameworks that reflect trading intent, market conditions, and asset‑specific execution approaches.
• Provide coverage to adjacent functions, including the firm’s third-party research platform.
• Produce regular and bespoke analytics for Traders, translating trading data into actionable recommendations on timing, sizing, liquidity sourcing, and execution strategy
• Support Best Execution Committees and governance forums through preparation of analytics, materials, and performance reviews across all asset classes.
• Monitor execution quality, broker performance, and market structure considerations to ensure alignment with best‑execution policy standards and internal governance expectations.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Trading to help ensure analytics are defensible, consistent, and scalable for regulatory and internal review.
• Conduct deep‑dive analytical reviews in collaboration with traders to understand drivers of anomalous outcomes, including liquidity conditions, volatility regimes, and execution decisions.
• Develop frameworks to distinguish true performance issues versus strategy‑driven or market‑driven outcomes and help incorporate learnings into future execution guidance.
• Lead and execute ad‑hoc analytical projects in response to Trading, Leadership, Investment Teams, or committee needs, often under time‑sensitive conditions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in trading analytics, execution strategy, market structure, or trading support within asset management, sell‑side, vendor, or a trading‑focused role.
• Strong understanding of equity trading mechanics and familiarity with multi‑asset execution dynamics.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing trading, execution, or TCA data and partnering directly with Trading desks.
• Comfort supporting and presenting in board meetings and senior management forums
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to conduct deep‑dive and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Clear communicator with the ability to translate complex analysis into practical, decision‑ready insights.
