Vice President, Data & Insights
About this role
Accountabilities:
• Define and execute a long-term data and analytics strategy, including modern data platform architecture, certified datasets, and scalable governance frameworks.
• Lead the shift toward AI-enabled, self-service analytics, reducing dependency on manual reporting and enabling autonomous insights for business teams.
• Oversee data engineering, analytics engineering, governance, and embedded analytics functions to ensure scalable, reliable, and high-quality data systems.
• Develop and maintain governed semantic layers and reusable data models that serve as trusted enterprise-wide data products.
• Establish data quality, lineage, access control, and compliance standards to strengthen trust and consistency in data usage.
• Partner with executive leadership across multiple functions to translate business needs into scalable data solutions and strategic insights.
• Drive adoption of AI, emerging analytics tools, and modern data practices to continuously evolve the organization’s data capabilities.
Requirements
• 12+ years of progressive experience in data leadership roles, including 5+ years managing large, cross-functional data teams in high-growth environments.
• Strong expertise in modern data platform architecture, including data modeling, certified datasets, and scalable analytics infrastructure.
• Proven success in building or leading self-service analytics transformations within complex organizations.
• Deep understanding of SaaS or usage-based business models, including metrics, telemetry, and revenue-driven analytics.
• Experience with analytics engineering practices, including semantic layers and modern data transformation tools.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and partner with C-level stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• Track record of leading distributed, remote-first teams with a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Strategic and forward-thinking mindset with the ability to evaluate and adopt emerging AI and data technologies effectively.
