Vice President & GM, Product Management - Commerce AI
About this role
Accountabilities:
• Own the end-to-end product vision and strategy for Commerce AI, including search, recommendations, merchandising, SEO, and conversational/agentic discovery experiences.
• Lead the convergence of traditional search and AI-native, conversational commerce into a unified, intelligent product discovery platform.
• Drive product P&L outcomes, including ARR growth, retention, Revenue Per Visitor (RPV), and competitive win rates across enterprise customers.
• Build and scale a global product organization, including senior product leaders, staff/principal PMs, and research talent across multiple regions.
• Define and execute the roadmap for AI-powered search, ranking, personalization, and LLM-driven commerce experiences.
• Lead agentic commerce initiatives, including off-site discovery integrations and extensible AI agent frameworks.
• Partner closely with engineering and data science to advance AI/ML capabilities such as semantic search, vector retrieval, and real-time personalization.
• Act as a General Manager for the business line, aligning product strategy with sales, customer success, and revenue performance.
• Represent the organization externally with enterprise customers, analysts, and industry forums as a commerce AI thought leader.
• Drive organizational transformation using AI-enabled product development workflows to increase speed, quality, and innovation.
Requirements
• 10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles (VP, GM, or equivalent) owning significant revenue or product P&L responsibility.
• Deep expertise in Commerce AI domains such as search, recommendations, personalization, or merchandising within enterprise SaaS environments.
• Strong technical fluency in AI/ML systems, including ranking models, NLP/NLU, vector search, and LLM-based architectures.
• Proven ability to drive measurable business outcomes such as ARR, conversion rates, retention, and customer lifetime value.
• Experience leading and scaling global, distributed product teams across multiple geographies.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience partnering closely with Sales, GTM, and Customer Success teams.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with strong conviction and decision-making clarity.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and external audiences.
• Experience representing products in strategic customer engagements and industry analyst discussions.
• Familiarity with modern AI-enabled product development tools and workflows is strongly preferred.
