Summary:

The Business Data Senior Analyst leads and focuses on developing processes and reports used by the organization. This role is accountable for creating dashboards, reports and software customization or configuration. The Senior Analyst leverages a wide set of analytical skills to answer ad-hoc and timely data-driven questions for business leaders.

Responsibilities:

Maintains the quality of data in business systems and databases.Creates reports and dashboards for a customers using established tools and data sources while following applicable standards, policies and procedures.Designs and develops templates for reports and dashboards that aligns with our branding guidelines. Promotes use of these templates and ensures compliance. Ensures sensitive data is displayed, delivered and secured as per company policies and procedures.Communicates with customers to understand intent of requests, performs follow ups, and provides status updates, sharing known limitations of the system or data, facilitating understanding of, and confidence in, the information presented.Collects and documents customer requirements. Provides resources, training or consultation to customers.Collaborates with cross functional teams to analyze data and develop process workflows from an end-to-end system perspective.Ensures efficient use of resources to optimize processes or reports performance. Prioritizes data integrity by validating data utilized in reports and in dashboards for accuracy and completeness.

Complexity of Work: This role requires critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to build and foster positive relationships. Strong problem-solving aptitude, self-starter and self-reliant. Strong knowledge of database concepts and technologies, data visualization, and Microsoft Office tools.

Required Work Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience utilizing report writing tools including: SQL, ERP reporting, Tableau, or Microsoft BI tools (SSMS, SSRS, SSIS).

Other Information: Certification in EPIC Clarity, Caboodle, or Workday highly preferredAdditional Education Info: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or related field.

Shift:

Primarily for office workers - not eligible for shift differential
